What is Glitter & Glow?

Glitter & Glow is Red Deer’s first dance- and art-based New Year’s 2 day celebration - an immersive 18+ event blending music, art, and glowing expression.

Music & Stages
 House, Techno, and DnB all night long curated by Rich Glow & Friends, with blends of progressive, melodic, disco, and funk house woven in.

No dress code-  just show up as your most expressive self in something shiny, glowing, or dance-ready!

Some questions about what to wear: In short, there is NO dress code! This is an arts & music event at heart so this is about community and expression! The theme is Glitter & Glow..... for perspective I myself will be wearing black jeans, a shiny glitter jacket over black T shirt. Wear something shiny, something glow or neon, or just something you're comfortable to dance & explore the nights offerings in! We will have Lunarfits offering glow body paint for guests as well, so leave some skin!

Are my tickets able to be refunded?

Tickets are not refundable, however you may use the free Showpass transfer service and pass your ticket along by simply transferring to their email address.

Yes & Glitter & Glow will also have a cash machine on site for your debit to cash conversion needs. Basic Venue fee applies for withdrawal.

No internet at this venue please be aware.

Yes. ID required for entry wristband. Must be 18 years or older to attend. 5pm - 2:30am

Our Event is a safe & inclusive space for all.

No Aggressive behaviors

This is a safe place for guests, staff, dancers, performers and artists of all walks. 
Costumes are not an invitation to touch, and we have a zero tolerance for unwanted behavior.

This event is community run, and a significant portion of the attendees know each one another from community events. If at any time you feel unsafe, please speak with any community member, any security, any bar tender or any staff. This atmosphere a community atmosphere.

Guests who break any of the above rules will be removed from the event without refund.

What should I not bring to G&G?

The following items are not to be brought to the festival: 
• Aerosol products / cans
• Glass, cans, cups, or coolers
• Inflatables of any kind
• Helium Balloons
• Illegal substances
• Large chains or spiked jewelry
• Laser pointers
• Outside food or beverages (including alcohol and candy).  GF Food options will be available at vendors.
• Stickers, flyers, posters. Leave this space clean. 
• No spray paint or markers
• No fire dancing equipment
• No Whips
• No sharp objects
• No bad attitudes
• No alcohol abuse will be tolerated. You will be promptly removed. 
• No unwanted touching or comments
Bags will be checked at security upon entry for mentioned items.
